Abstract: This paper grapples with the ethical dilemmas of youth research and more specifically, 'edgework', via an experiential account of fieldwork with 'boy racers' in Aberdeen, Scotland.'Edgework' is ethically problematic for those who wish to conduct fieldwork with youths.
