Surviving Pneumonia: A Rare Outcome of Compensatory Hyperinflation in Fibrotic Lung Disease

Abstract: Chronic respiratory insufficiency can result from respiratory infections like pneumonia, which can permanently harm the lungs and respiratory system. A 21-year-old female patient arrived at our emergency medicine department (ED) complaining of acute lower-limb pain that worsened when she walked.
