Cocoa is one of the main plantation crops grown in Gorontalo Province, but the productivity remains well below its potential. In order to increase productivity, the government has implemented a cocoa intensification program. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyse the sustainability of cocoa intensification program policy in Gorontalo Province. Primary data being obtained from interviews with respondents selected by simple random sampling. Multidimensional scaling analysis with the rapid appraisal technique for fisheries (RAPFISH) program was used to measure the sustainability index of cocoa intensification, along with an analysis of incomes and the adoption of cocoa cultivation technology. The results showed that intensification of cocoa farming increased productivity, with a level of 612 kg/ha/year and an income of IDR 6,281,592/ha/year. Conversely, without intensification, productivity values were 421 kg/ha/year and income were IDR 4,732,823/ha/year. Based on economic, social, and ecological aspects, the sustainability of cocoa intensification is categorized as sufficient. Cocoa intensification program needs to be continuously developed in Gorontalo in the future.

Food security continues to be a global concern and its importance has recently increased for many reasons. Composite food security indices have been widely used to calculate and monitor food security, but farm-level studies are limited. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to construct a Farm-level Food Security Index (FFSI) for dairy farms to assess their contribution to food security, identify potential areas for improvement and guide policy makers. Data were collected from 126 farms in the Thrace Region of Turkey through face-to-face interviews. The FFSI was constructed with four dimensions, briefly called economic, quality, social and natural resources, containing twenty-three variables. Principal component analysis was used for the determination of variable weights, data envelopment analysis for calculating technical efficiency, and the Tobit model for examining the factors influencing FFSI scores. To assess the robustness of the FFSI, Monte Carlo simulations-based uncertainty and sensitivity analysis, dimension extraction approach and Shapley effects sensitivity analysis were performed. With an average score of 56.8, the key result of the FFSI is that dairy farms are using almost half of their potential to fully contribute to food security. Moreover, according to the Tobit model, FFSI scores are significantly affected by the farmer’s age and education level, credit use, livestock unit, fodder crop area and milk marketing channel. The FFSI is robust to weights and sensitive to normalisation, and the social sustainability dimension can cause the largest shift in index scores. Based on these findings, numerous agricultural policy proposals have been developed in this study by identifying the priority areas that need to be addressed to guarantee food security.

The PUHA (Pop Up Horses Algebra) game is developed for enhancing mathematics learning in Grade 7 algebra. This research aims to create interactive games that are not only engaging but also effective in facilitating students' comprehension of algebraic concepts in an enjoyable manner. Employing the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) as a developmental framework, this study endeavors to ensure the systematic and structured creation of PUHA. The findings underscore that the development of PUHA games significantly enhances students' grasp of algebraic principles at the Grade 7 level. Utilizing the ADDIE Model for PUHA game development ensures a methodical approach, guaranteeing the production of high-quality and impactful educational games. In conclusion, the development of the PUHA game utilizing the ADDIE Model showcases a promising approach to fostering students' algebraic understanding in Grade 7 through engaging and effective educational gaming experiences.
