Abstract: Agro-industrial waste, including peels, pulps, pomace, and seeds, poses a significant global economic and environmental problem. Recovering these wastes to extract bioactive compounds (e.g., pecin, polyphenols, pigments, essential oils) offers a sustainable solution.
