Performance of a construction project could be influenced by a number of attributes, especially large and complex projects lay additional focus on the success / failure attributes, because of the intensive amount of money invested, a high degree of uncertainty, the complexity of personnel’s required, a multiplicity of goals and problems in coordination between different stakeholders encountered. In this research paper, the author intended to define and examine the relationship and impact of construction productivity (CP) over construction project performance (CPP). The author tests the proposition that there is a positive relationship/impact between both of them. And to test the effect of factors is affecting CP on CPP and to propose a conceptual model on the basis of the analysis. To validate the mathematical validity of factor analysis, Spearman correlation analysis has been performed on the factors. And to check the reliability of all the factors using reliability analysis, and finally test the hypothesis that construction productivity is having a positive impact on project performance using one sample t-test. The findings of the study concluded that there is a positive impact of construction productivity on project performance in Indian construction projects. This paper attempts to identify the relationship between CP and CPP and recommends the framework for the industry to grow sustainably and deliver projects successfully. Abstract. The main objectives of using renewable energy enable us to attain sustainable growth without compromising the future. India is on the 7th nation in generating renewable energy while the USA, China and Germany are on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively. Secondly, in case of Solar energy, the statistics are: India is on the 7th nation in generating solar energy while China, Japan, and Germany are on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively, Generating 9, 78, 42.8 and 41.2 (GW) gigawatts from solar power. India having great opportunities in generating solar power because of its location and the availability of largely unused land banks throughout the nation. The purpose of the paper is to examine the challenges to the adoption of solar energy as a means of generation of energy and power for the nation's requirement. The hurdles/factors identified for the study is 16 and a targeted data collection of 105 for the study using convenient sampling technique throughout India. The research finding shall contribute to the existing body of knowledge and provide suggestions to the policymakers, the manufactures and the local bodies working on the ground to implement the solar energy as an alternate energy resource to fossil fuels in India.

Abstract. Objectives of a lean production system (LPS) is to maximise value and minimise waste, by applying specific lean tools and techniques such as 5S, LPS, JIT, VSM, PULL, Kaizen, Six Sigma and many others techniques in a new production process. LPS is a philosophy based on the lean principles developed in Toyota by [1] [2] named as lean manufacturing principles and further developed as lean philosophy [3]. The main benefits of utilising 5S are identified from the literature review and a structured questionnaire is prepared. The data is collected using convenient sampling technique from the professionals working in the industry. The collected data is analysed using different tools and techniques. A total of 9 benefits were identified from the literature review and the expert opinion from the industry. The findings of the study contribute to the existing body of knowledge and lay down few suggestions to the industry for implementing 5S in the Indian context. The findings of the study conclude that the lean principles support the Indian manufacturing industry to improve productivity, quality, and reduction in cycle time The study is conducted using primary data collection and the sample size is small (86).
