Sustainable superhydrophobic lignin-based polyurethane foam: an innovative solution for oil pollutant adsorption

Abstract: Lignin-based polyurethane foam was synthesized via a one-pot method and subsequently functionalized with silane to achieve superhydrophobicity. The modified foam demonstrated excellent oil–water separation performance, showcasing its potential for practical applications in environmental remediation.
