Sustainable Utilization of Machine-Vision-Technique-Based Algorithm in Objective Evaluation of Confocal Microscope Images

Abstract: Confocal microscope imaging has become popular in biotechnology labs. Confocal imaging technology utilizes fluorescence optics, where laser light is focused onto a specific spot at a defined depth in the sample. A considerable number of images are produced regularly during the process of research. These images require methods of unbiased quantification to have meaningful analyses. Increasing efforts to tie reimbursement to outcomes will likely increase the need for objective data in analyzing confocal microsco… Show more

“…Although traditional field surveys and crop statistics are useful for accurately estimating crop yield, they prove to be insufficient when predicting crop yield for large regions due to constraints such as budget, time, and shortage of skilled manpower (Fang et al, 2008). Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computerization have contributed to the field of biotechnology and agriculture and supported the sustainability endeavor (Anaz et al, 2023). Advancements in satellite sensor technology have led to the development of remote sensing, which is a science and technique focused on acquiring information about onland objects from satellite imagery without the need for direct Cereal yield forecasting in semi-arid region of Algeria using MODIS-NDVI contact (Sabins, 1987).…”

“…Most of the environments and fields have become in touch with the detection and vision techniques, especially when the cameras have to be used. The given data from cameras are used today to detect objects, persons, cars, surveillance systems, traffic monitoring systems, security systems, moving object detections [1,2], robotic systems [3,4], and sustainable applications [5]. The real-time systems, which depend on the usage of cameras, are mostly behaved with real video that consists of multi-images displayed in a high frequency.…”

“…Ali and Sabit (Al-Ani et al, 2011b;Chaudhari et al, 2021). Given the imperative of addressing both global food security and food safety, it is crucial to prioritize the exploration of economically viable, sustainable, user-friendly, and environmentally friendly alternative therapies and methods (Anaz et al, 2023). The present study aimed to investigate the insecticidal efficiency of eucalyptus and spearmint essential oils and assess their oviposition inhibition activity against the smaller grain borer, R. dominica and the red flour beetle T. castaneum in laboratory conditions.…”
