Sustainable Wastewater Management: Energy and Nutrient Resource Recovery

Abstract

The intent of this paper is to delineate the technologies related to energy and nutrient recovery from wastewater treatment plants. Considering the process flow diagram of a typical wastewater treatment plant, these efforts focus on various areas that require specific attention to achieve the resource recovery goals.
