Swelling of Extremities: Primary Lymphedema?

Abstract: Background: Primary lymphedema is a rare disorder, affecting mainly pediatric patients. It results from maldevelopment of the lymphatic vasculature. Its differential diagnosis is wide and includes secondary lymphedema (the most frequent), and several syndromes.
