Abstract:SUMMARYThe spatial arrangement of cell fusion sites and eyespots of the gametes in vis‐à‐vis mating pairs of Chlamydomonas eugametos, corresponding to the swimming zygote of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, were studied using field emission scanning electron microscopy and light microscopy, respectively.
