In the current pandemic period, some activities of the work program cannot be carried out properly, there are even some activities cannot be carried out. Special school institutions as a forum for education services for children with special needs, need to make changes and improve work programs. The institution work program needs to improve to achieve an institution's vision and mission. It is necessary to change the work program through a more focused program planning. This research aims to formulate a strategic plan contained in the work program of special schools. This study uses a qualitative method with SWOT analysis. This research essential the current condition of private special school X, namely by compiling strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. To obtain current condition information from the institution, involving school supervisors, principals, teachers, and school committees by teleconference. Before analysing the current condition data of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats conducted the validity and reliability test by using Smart-structural equation modelling. From the classification results, the institution's position quadrant will be identified to obtain the institution's strategic planning work program will be obtained from this quadrant. The research results state the institution's position was in the 3rd quadrant that means institutions must develop strategic planning institutions by minimizing weaknesses to reduce threats to the institution. Special school headmasters can arrange programs based on strategic planning with horizontal and vertical coordination to achieve their goals on time according to the work program plan. In Pakistan, where the subject of special/inclusive education is still taboo, there is a need to promote inclusivity in education. However, the journey begins at the grassroots level by accommodating children with disabilities in a mainstream setup at the primary level. This paper presents the findings of an exploratory research study conducted in an inclusive private primary school in Karachi, Pakistan. This case study research draws on the pedagogical practices of classroom teachers in a private primary inclusive school in Karachi where children with disabilities study alongside their peers who do not have special educational needs or disabilities. The research study aimed to explore the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threat factors that could optimize the teaching and learning process of children with special educational needs (CWSN) or children with disabilities (CWD) in the context of an inclusive school located in Karachi, Pakistan. Through an analysis of 16 semi-structured interviews and multiple classroom and field observations, teachers’ understandings of their school’s institutional values and their pedagogical practices to accommodate children with disabilities and inclusion were explored. The interviews were transcribed and analyzed using a SWOT–thematic qualitative method. The results of the SWOT analysis indicate how an inclusive school caters to the strengths of CWD and provides them with opportunities to sustain themselves in an educational setup.

Inclusive education in higher education, is vital for creating a diverse and equitable learning environment, ensuring equal opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities and backgrounds. This approach enriches the overall educational experience, fostering global readiness in students for a diverse society. This article utilizes bibliometric analysis with R software to track trends in studies concerning the integration of inclusive education in higher education, drawing data from the Scopus database spanning 2013 to 2023. The findings reveal that the growth of scholarly publications on the implementation of inclusive education in higher education experiences fluctuations. The Sustainability Journal (Switzerland) emerges as the most prolific publisher of articles on this subject, with the University of Nottingham being the most productive affiliate. The United States stands out as the most productive country, and the article titled "Sustainability Strategy in Higher Education Institutions: Lessons Learned from a Nine-Year Case Study" by Ramisio et al. holds the distinction of being the most cited. This research outlines inclusive education in higher education for interested scholars, emphasizing current challenges and potential opportunities in implementing it, particularly in Islamic higher education. The article acknowledges limitations that could be addressed through broader metadata sources and a more extended publication timeline. Furthermore, the novelty of this research is no previous researcher has explored inclusive education in higher education using bibliometric analysis.
