Symmetry Breaking Effects in Nonleptonic Decays of Hyperons

Abstract: 491We have examined the symmetry breaking effects in nonleptonic decays of hyperons. It turned out that if the weak spurion is confined to a unitary octet, then representations other than octet of SB@SW bring new parameters on the decay modes of A and S particles. Among the three properti~sl) ofnonleptonic hyperon decays, therefore, the formulation of Property III) is modified by the broken symmetry SB'Next we have investigated the pole model along the same line of thought as Paper I [Prog.
