Symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of submucous fibroids
Alieke Lisette Keizer
Abstract:In this thesis we described several new diagnostic tests and their value for clinical decision making and predictive value for fibroid growth and later quality of life. Also, we gained insight in treatment evaluation by means of translation of the Uterine Fibroid Symptom and Quality of Life questionnaire (UFS-QOL) in Dutch, evaluating the effect of Trans Cervical Resection of Myoma (TCRM) on menstrual bleeding and quality of life and listing non-medical treatments for the growth of uterine fibroids.
