Abstract: Colitis is a major gastrointestinal disease that threatens human health. In this study, a synbiotic composed of inulin and Pediococcus acidilactici ( P. acidilactici ) was investigated for its ability to alleviate dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis.
