Adie's syndrome (AS) and paraneoplastic sensorimotor neuropathy with cerebellar ataxia (PSN CA) are extremely rare, rapidly progressive, autoimmune diseases associated with the development of antibodies against neuronal-specific Hu proteins that are abnormally expressed in small-cell lung cancer (SCLC).
