Abstract: Over the last decades it has become possible to perform x‐ray scattering experiments at SR beamlines. The superior qualities of the x‐ray beams generated at these sources, combined with technological developments in position‐sensitive detector systems, has made time‐resolved x‐ray experiments possible.
