Eu 2 O 3 of nuclear grade was procured from Johnson Mathey Chemical Ltd., England, and used as a target material to irradiate in the nuclear reactor to make the radiotracer 154/152 Eu (III) [20]. However, due to some shortcomings, such as co-extraction, poor selectivity and third phase formation there is still a need of more specific extracting agents for the extraction of europium.…”
