Synergistic Action of Amphotericin B and Antioxidants Against Certain Opportunistic Yeast Pathogens

Abstract: Results of earlier turbidimetric growth experiments showed that certain antioxidants prolonged the antifungal activity of amphotericin B (AB) against Candida albicans , presumably by retarding autoxidative destruction of the drug.
