Synergistic action of sodium selenite and N-acetylcysteine in acetaminophen-induced liver damage

Abstract: Acetaminophen (AAP) is a commonly used analgesic and antipyretic drug; however, when used in high doses, it causes fulminant hepatic necrosis in both humans and experimental animals.
