“…Due to its environmental friendliness and low processing cost, enzymatic degradation has gradually gained popularity as the method of choice for plastic waste recycling. Within this group of thiophene-based polyesters, the hydrolyzable ester bonds and the C–S bonds of thiophenes play an essential role in the ignition process [ 31 ].
