Abstract:To enhance the adsorption efficiency of activated carbon for heavy metals, herein we synthesized a novel composite adsorbent by loading of nickel/aluminum layered double hydroxides (Ni/Al-LDH) onto a chemically modified Egyptian rice husk-derived activated carbon.
