The H 2 O 2 decomposition was determined spectroscopically, by irradiating aqueous solutions of H 2 O 2 (100 mM) and measuring its absorbance at 240 nm using ε 240 nm = 39.4 M −1 , before and after exposure to the UV lamp [40].
