Synthese des DNA‐Gyrase‐Inhibitors Microcin B17, eines Peptidantibiotikums mit 43 Aminosäuren und acht aromatischen Heterocyclen im Peptidrückgrat

Abstract: Eines der ungewöhnlichsten ribosomal synthetisierten und posttranslational modifizierten Polypeptide ist Microcin B17. Die Totalsynthese dieses großen Polypeptidantibiotikums (Formel siehe unten) mit Oxazol‐und Thiazolbausteinen öffnet nun den Weg für das Studium von Struktur‐Aktivitäts‐Beziehungen auf dem Gebiet der Gyrase‐Inhibitoren.
