“…In the crystals of the Ln‐containing Ag‐iodoplumbates [Ln(DMSO) 8 ][Pb 2 Ag 2 I 9 ] [Ln=La ( 58 ), Gd ( 59 ), Tm ( 60 )], a 1D supramolecular polymer is assembled via very short [Pb⋅⋅⋅I, 3.093–3.119 Å; Σ r vdW (Pb⋅⋅⋅I)=4.00 Å] and high directional (∠I−Pb⋅⋅⋅I, 168.29–177.74°) tetrel bonds involving the [Ag 2 Pb 2 I 9 ] n 3n− anionic chains (Scheme 15a) [162] .
