Synthesis and antimicrobial activities of some novel thiazole compounds

Abstract: Objective: The advent of resistant pathogenic microorganisms against current antimicrobial drugs prompted scientists to investigate novel molecules with new mechanisms. In this paper, some new 2-[2-[4-(ethyl/phenyl)cyclohexylidene]hydrazinyl]-4-(4-substitutedphenyl)thiazole (2a–2o) derivatives were synthesized and studied for their antimicrobial activities.
