Piperidines 35b − 38b were obtained by catalytic hydrogenation of the corresponding 1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridines; compounds 35b , 36b, and 38b have been already described. Compounds 31b and 35b were transformed into the methiodides 31c and 35c by reaction with methyl iodide.
