Abstract:In the present work, the compound (N-(4-pyridyl-p-toluene sulfonamide) as a ligand was prepared from the reaction of 4-aminopyridine and p-toluene sulfonyl chloride in presence of one molar potassium hydroxide solution as a base and tetrahydrofuran as a solvent. Palladium dichloride was used for the synthesis of [bis (N-(4-pyridyl-p-toluene sulfonamide)] complex. The structure of the synthesized compounds was confirmed by FTIR.
