Abstract:One kind of acid-base high temperature proton exchange membrane was synthesised from chitosan (CS), 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and amino trimethylene phosphonic acid (ATMP) by sol-gel process. In order to prevent phosphonic acid from leaching out, ATMP was introduced as proton conductor as well as cross-linker. Fourier transform infrared suggests that the SiZOC 2 H 5 in APTES appears as a hydrolysis-polycondensation yielding SiZOZSi network, and the introduction of ATMP leads to the protonation of th… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
