Synthesis and characterization of 1-(4-methylthiazol-2-yl)-3-propyl thiourea
Abstract:A variety of thiourea and thiazole derivatives have several types of biological activates. An attractive feature of thioureas is their ready and synthesis change of the substitutes on nitrogen atoms and their physical and chemical properties. The compound was synthesized through the reaction of 2-amino-4-methylthiazol with propylisothiocyanate which was characterized by elemental analysis, 13 C-1 H NMR, IR and mass spectra.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
