≤ 0.2 are synthesized from stoichiometric mixtures of SrCO3, PdO, 30 h) and characterized by powder XRD and electrical and magnetic measurements. All the doped phases crystallize in the cubic space group Pm3n (NaPt3O4-type structure). Substitutions of Sr 2+ by Na + and Bi 3+ introduce hole and electron carriers, respectively. With increasing dopant concentration the effective magnetic moment, electrical conductivity, and carrier concentration of the phases increase, and the thermopower decreases. Among the samples studied, Sr0.8Na0.2Pd3O4 exhibits the highest room temp. power factor. -(OZAWA*, T. C.; MATSUSHITA, A.; HIDAKA, Y.; TANIGUCHI, T.; MIZUSAKI, S.; NAGATA, Y.; NORO, Y.; SAMATA, H.; J.
