Abstract:In recent years, preparation of gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) has been intensively pursued because of their peculiar properties. Be it in catalysis, optics, electronics, and sensing are found daily for these materials; therefore, in the present study, an attempt is made to synthesize Au NPs by using environmental friendly glucose as reducing agent through the simple microwave method. Besides, the effects of glucose concentrations on the morphology and particle size of final products were investigated. The struct… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
