“…From the SEM image in Fig. 2(b), the homogeneous surface for pure PU was observed and characterized as a smooth fracture [25] . Figures 2(c) and 2(d) show the morphology of PU/PANI blend with 0.1 wt% PANI at two different resolutions.…”

“…Polyaniline has emerged as one of the most promising conducting organic polymers, owing to its high polymerization yield, good environmental stability, moderate electrical conductivity and relatively low production cost. Recently, we have worked on developing high dielectric permittivity nano-composites systems, such as PANI-DBSA/PU(polyurethane), 29 PANI-DBSA/ PAA, 30 and PANI-DBSA/epoxy, 31 for the applications in the fields of energy storage, integral capacitor technology, electro-active devices and electromagnetic interference(EMI). In these studies, negative ε values have been observed when we follow certain synthetic routes and fabrication procedures.…”

“…However, PAni has low mechanical properties. Among the conventional polymers, polyurethanes (PUs) show good mechanical properties, such as stiffness and flexibility [11][12][13] . Polyurethanes are segmented polymers with microphase separated morphology 14 .…”
