Synthesis and Characterization of New Monomers Containing Maleimide and Propargyl Groups

Abstract: This article deals with the synthesis and characterization of new monomers containing maleimide, citraconimide and propargyl groups and their polymerization. The monomers were synthesized by the reaction of maleimide or citraconimide derivatives of 3(4)-aminobenzoic acid with propargyl alcohol.
