“…The device that gain higher R CT value will probably suppress the recombination reaction between the electron and the oxidized Co 3+ ions present in the electrolyte. The correlation between this exchange current density ( J 0 ) and R CT is related by following Buttler–Volmer equation where R CT is the variable and the others are constants; i.e., R is the gas constant, T is 298 K, F is the Faraday constant, and n is the number of electron involved in the redox reaction.…”

“…The PGE J59 has a longer electron lifetime value of 43.5 ms, and such high electron recombination resistance of PGE electrolyte redox pairs is responsible for the increased J SC and V OC . Then the reduction in the back reaction of the electron transfer and injected electron from dye attributed with I 3 − to the electrolyte 81 . Such higher resistance values for the gel electrolytes illustrates I 3 − reduction reaction ensues at the counter electrode which may responsible for more power conversion efficiency.…”

“…The corresponding values again indicate the better performance of LaCeNiO 3 than LaNiO 3 and CeNiO 3 compared with the novel Pt electrode. The higher values of Jsc are attributed to the proportion of dye molecules adsorbed on the TiO 2 surface, the efficiency of electron injection to the FTO and collection by the CE, and the performance of regeneration of the dye 70,71 . The photovoltaic terms such as Jsc follows the order as the LaCeNiO 3 (13.75 mA cm −2 ) > CeNiO 3 (11.12 mAcm −2 ) > LaNiO 3 (8.3 mA cm −2 ) > Pt (3.8 mA cm −2 ).…”
