Synthesis and characterization of poly [(3,4‐ethylenedioxy) thiophene]:polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) for energy storage device application

Abstract: In this paper, the facile synthesis and characterization aspects of PEDOT:PSS has been presented, in the context of energy storage device technology. PEDOT/PSS particles were synthesized via chemical oxidative polymerization to improve the electrical conductivity. The mechanism for this conductivity enhancement was studied through various chemical and physical characterizations.
