Synthesis and Characterization of Polymerizable Tourmaline Methacrylate

Abstract: The surface modification of tourmaline powder with methacrylic anhydride was studied in this work, and the reaction process conditions were optimized according to the experimental parameters of contact angle and turbidity in liquid paraffin. The structure of the modified tourmaline was characterized by means of IR, XRD and SEM.
