“…The only conducting state is the greencolored emeraldine salt (ES), which is the protonated form of EB. 18,19 Some of reports are available on the studies of polytoluidines such as synthetic and characterization of pyrrol and m-toluidin copolymer 20 and the single-step polymerization of conducting poly(o-toluidin) and camphor sulfonic acid, 21 in addition to the synthesis, characterization, and electrical properties of poly(m-toluidine)/modified carbon nanotubes conducting polymer composites. 19 Here, the electrochemical anodic polymerization of mtoluidin on a Pt electrode from aqueous acid solution is investigated using the cyclic voltammetry technique.…”

“…As seen from Fig. 1, the typical -NH stretching vibration peak was observed at 3378 cm -1 , the peak at around 1539 cm -1 assigned to -C=C stretch of Py ring and the peak at 1045 cm -1 is caused by -CH in-plane deformation of the Py unit [25]. The infrared spectrum of Dx-SO 4 showed strong peak at 3550 cm -1 could be assigned to the axial stretching vibration of O-H and interchain hydrogen bonds of polysaccharide; C-H stretching at 2895, two characteristic absorption bands one at 1399 cm -1 , related to an asymmetrical S=O vibration, and the other one at 805 cm -1 , indicating a symmetrical C-O-S vibration associated to the C-O-SO 3 [26,27].…”

“…6b), the weight loss was observed within the temperature range of 191-383°C which could be assigned to the loss of doping anions in PPy/Dx-SO 4 composite chains, the decomposition of PPy oligomers and loss of unbounded dopant [25], and the decomposition of free Dx-SO 4 [29], and PPy [30] chains. As a result, it can be clearly stated that the composite exhibited better thermal stability than Dx-SO 4 .…”

“…For Pmc, the characteristic IR peak observed at 1023 cm 21 may have been due to the . 31 The FTIR spectra of the POT and POT/ Pmc composite showed bands at 1590 and 1497 cm 21 , which corresponded to the CÀ ÀC ring stretching vibration of the quinoid and benzenoid forms [ Fig. 1(b)].…”
