Synthesis and characterization of some benzothioate derivatives and investigation of extractions with Cr3+, Co2+, Cu2+, Mn2+, Fe3+, Zn2+ ions

Abstract: The biological importance of thiol compounds has increased the interest in these compounds in recent years. Thioester, thioether and disulfide compounds obtained from thiol compounds selectively bind metals such as gold, silver, iron, mercury, cadmium, zinc.
