Synthesis and Characterization of Some Selenium Nanometric Compounds: Spectroscopic, Biological and Antioxidant Assessments

Abstract: Selenium (IV) vitamin A complex as antioxidant drug design was prepared and characterized by microanalysis, conductance, infrared spectra, Raman laser spectra, 1 HNMR spectra, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetric (TG/DTG and DTA) tool of analyses. Vitamin A chelate was coordinated as a mono-dentate ligand through the oxygen atom of -OH hydroxyl group. Thermal degradation analyses discussed the removal of terminal methyl molecules in the first and second decom… Show more

“…In addition, the sharp diffraction peaks that are observed for the CeO 2 nanoparticles emphasize the small sizes of CeO 2 crystallites as well as a homogeneous arrangement. These data echo those previously cited by Atta et al [22].…”

“…The rate-limiting phase in the anaerobic dye reduction process has been proven to involve the transfer of reducing equivalents from the main electron donor (like co-substrate) to the terminal electron acceptor . In order to hasten the electron-transfer phase while decreasing steric hindrance from dye molecules, a little amount of redox mediator supplementation is necessary. , …”
