“…Following these indications, in our previous work [15] the preparation of composites of 3-dimensional carbon foams coated with LiFePO 4 prepared by a Pechini-assisted reversed polyol method has been reported. The authors obtained a specific capacity of 85 mAh g −1 (discharging rate of C/25 at room temperature) after annealing the composites at 600 • C under nitrogen atmosphere for 15 min only.…”

“…A detailed description of the preparation conditions of the LiFePO4 samples and of the composites by the Pechini-assisted reverse polyol method has been previously reported [15]. The LiFePO4 samples are prepared by dissolving Li(CH3COO)·2H2O (lithium acetate), Fe(SO4)2·7H2O (iron(II) sulfate) in water as precursors (molar ratio 1:1) with citric acid (2 × mol [Fe]), then adding phosphoric acid in equimolar ratio with Li and Fe ions.…”

“…Furthermore, the voltammetric curves can depend upon several parameters such as structural and morphological changes of the cathode and anode materials, chemical reactions occurring within the electrolyte, at the electrolyte-anode and electrolyte-cathode interfaces. The influence of these parameters has been investigated in several systems as LiCoO 2 , LiMnO 4 and LiFePO 4 however, we have found no data concerning the LiNiPO 4 system. Further electrochemical measurements are running in order to understand the mechanism of the Li-ions intercalation/deintercalation processes of this system.…”

“…The experimental procedures for the preparation and characterizations of the samples have been previously reported [3][4][5]. The samples in the LiMPO 4 system (M = Fe, Co, Ni) have been prepared by dissolving in water lithium acetate, iron sulfate (cobalt acetate, nickel acetate) as precursors (molar ratio 1:1) with citric acid (2 x mol [Fe, Co, Ni]), then adding phosphoric acid in the equimolar ratio with Li ions.…”
