“…Comparably, the PPy film synthesized under the same experimental conditions showed almost no fluorescence emission. The main reason for the difference between the PPPA and PPy films is that the introduction of side chains to the PPy structure produces new local conformations, alters the π−π electron delocalization, and thus leads to fluorescence emission in the visible region ,, .
