Abstract:This review surveys the recent developments in organometallic-chemistry-based methods for the preparation of imidazo [1,2-b]pyridazines by cyclization as well as their functionalization by means of cross-coupling reactions such as Sonogashira, Heck, Negishi, Suzuki-Miyaura, Kumada and Stille. In addition, the advances made on the CÀ H activation of imidazo[1,2-b] pyridazines using C-arylation, C-benzylation and C-alkylation are also reviewed. Furthermore, the recent reports on the Narylation of this heterocycl… Show more
“…11,12 In recent years, transitionmetal catalysed synthetic routes to access imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine derivatives from appropriate starting materials are increasingly being employed with established cross-coupling reactions. 13 In this copper catalysed reaction are extensively developed using catalyst with acetylacetonate, hexa-uoroacetylacetonate and triate ligands. This is followed by palladium-based metal catalyst and some other metal catalyst based on tin and gold are also reported.…”

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
