Synthesis and pharmacological activities of azo dye derivatives incorporating heterocyclic scaffolds: a review

Abstract: Nowadays, there is significant interest in the synthesis of heterocycle-incorporated azo dye derivatives as potential scaffolds in the pharmaceutical sector.
