For YPO 4 :Eu 3+ , the sharp bands at 535 and 642 cm –1 are attributed to the bending vibration absorption bands of ν 4 (PO 4 3– ), and the 1017 cm –1 peak corresponds to the ν 3 stretching vibration of the PO 4 3– group. , The peak at 825 cm –1 related to the characteristic vibration absorption band of O–V–O can be seen from the FT-IR spectrum of YVO 4 :Eu 3+ .
