Synthesis and Properties of Functionally Substituted Unsaturated Polysulfones

Abstract: High-temperature copolymerization of ethyl esters of vinyl-or isopropenylcyclopropanecarboxylic acids with SO 2 was studied as a route to functionally substituted unsaturated polysulfones. The composition, structure, and some properties of the polysulfones obtained were studied. “…Aliphatic polysulfones such as polyolefin sulfone and polyalkylene sulfone contain weak sulfur–carbon bond in the main chain that is readily cleaved under extreme ultraviolet irradiation, so that they have been utilized as resist material 2,3.
