Abstract:New Y-type polyester (3) containing nitrophenylazoresorcinoxy groups as NLO chromophores, which are components of the polymer backbone, was prepared and characterized. Polyester 3 is soluble in common organic solvents such as N,N-dimethylformamide and acetone.
