Synthesis and root growth activity of some new acetylhydrazinecarbothioamides and 1,2,4-triazoles substituted with 5H-dibenzo[a,d]annulene moiety

Abstract: New hydrazinecarbothioamides 5a-d bearing 5H-dibenzo[a,d]an-nulene moiety were synthesized using classical procedures. 1H-NMR analysis indicated the existence of two conformational isomers, a major axial (about 75%) and a minor equatorial one (25%) which are interconvertible by middle ring inversion. Cyclization of 5a-d compounds in NaOH solution produced the corresponding 1,2,4-triazoles-3(4H)-thiol 6a-d compounds which proved to be pure axial isomers. All the new compounds were extensively characterize… Show more

“…Considering these published data and as a sequel to our research on the design and synthesis of biologically active new heterocycles from the triazole class [ 32 , 33 , 34 , 35 ], it was thought worthwhile to synthesize the novel title compounds and to evaluate them for their antioxidant activity.…”

“…Inspired by the aforesaid findings and keeping in mind our studies on different heterocycles with biological potential, [26][27][28][29][30][31][32] we designed the synthesis of new heterocyclic compounds which contain in the same molecule the thiazolotriazole condensed system, diarylsulfone and 4-fluorophenyl fragments, in order to obtain new compounds with potential antimicrobial activity.…”

“…The biopotential of thiosemicarbazide derivatives (4‐nitropyrrole‐based thiosemicarbazide derivatives) as antibacterial, antifungal, and antitubercular agents have been well documented by Rane et al . All the acetylhydrazine‐carbothioamides containing 5 H ‐dibenzo[ a , d ][7]annulene were investigated for their biological activities concerning regulation of the growth of wheat and root growth activity of using the phytobiological method without cytotoxicity .…”
