“…A number of Schiff's base metal complexes have displayed bioactivity as antibacterial 3,4 , antifungal 5 , anticancer 6,7,8 , anti-inflammatory 9 , anticonvulsant 10 , antiviral 11 and analgesic 12 agents. Although metal-based ethanolamines have historically been subjected of many investigations 13,14 due to their use as buffers 15 , catalysts 16 , inhibitors 17 , ion exchangers 18 , electroplating and dyes 19 , now they are garnering attention for their biological 20 role in plant growth 21 regulation, bacterial and fungal metabolism and as a cytotoxic agent 22 . Metal-based compounds have also been reported to improve electron transfer and efficiency in protein bioelectrochemistry 23,24 .…”

“…A peak at 8.94 ppm has been attributed to azomethine proton (–N=CH) of the free ligand. [ 18,19 ] In the spectra of Ni (II), Zn (II), and Ru (II) complexes, the signal migrated downfield to 9 ppm, 9.75 ppm, and 9.51 ppm, respectively, as compared with free ligand, confirming that azomethine nitrogen is coordinated to the metal ions. The Schiff base ligand exhibits singlet peak at 10.80 ppm for phenolic proton (OH) which disappears in all the complexes indicating the deprotonation of hydroxyl group of naphthaldehyde moiety and confirming that the oxygen is involving in the complex formation due to formation of new M–O bond observed in the IR spectra with rang of 530–540 cm −1 .…”

“…[9,10] On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization asserted the sudden happening of SARSCo-V-2, a public health disaster of worldwide concern. Recently, a new corona virus (COVID 19), SARS CoV2, appeared in China in late 2019 and quickly spread to almost all countries, causing a global pandemic. [11,12] Structural studies have made it possible to understand the molecular bases underlying the role of many SARSCo-V2 proteins and to make rapid progress towards preventive treatments and therapies.…”
