Ahmet Sari et al [15] synthesized a new kind of polymeric solid-solid phase change materials (SSPCMs) polystyrene-graft-PEG copolymers, in which polystyrene was used as a hard segment, and PEG6000 was used as a soft segment. By controlling the feed ratio of polystyrene and PEG6000 to 4:1, 2:1, and 1:1, the synthesized SSPCMs had typical solid-solid phase transition characteristics, with the phase transition temperatures in the range of 55-58 • C and the latent heat enthalpy in the range of 116-174 J/g.…”
