Synthesis and thermal properties of polyurethane-polysiloxane crosslinked polymer networks

Abstract: Polysiloxane-polyurethane crosslinked polymer networks (PSI-PU) were synthesized in solution by polymerization of oligosiloxanes containing ␥-hydroxy propyl groups with polymethane polyphenyl polyisocyanate. Polyether-based polyurethane and polyester-based polyurethane were also prepared by a "one-shot" method. Their thermal properties were studied by thermogravimetric analysis.
